We are so excited to share what we have planned for the upcoming September school holidays!
After a wonderful July programme, we are back with two weeks of fun, creative and carefully planned days for your child – and this time we have pulled out all the stops.
Our holiday programme is designed with neurodiverse families in mind, offering a safe, nurturing and fun environment where every child is supported. Group numbers are kept small, the children have dedicated youth workers with them throughout the day, and while we are built for neurodiverse families, a diagnosis is absolutely not required – all are welcome!
📅 When: 28 September – 8 October (Monday to Thursday, both weeks)
📍 Where: North East Valley School Hall
🕣 Hours: 8.30am – 3.00pm
💵 Cost: $70 per day (Or you can book for a full week & save)
What’s On This September
We have eight incredible themed days planned across the two weeks — each one packed with activities, creativity and plenty of fun:
Week One
- 🎨 Monday – Expression Splatter
- 🔧 Tuesday – Tinkering Lab
- 🍪 Wednesday – Culinary Canvas
- 🏕️ Thursday – Wilderness Survival
Week Two
- 🔍 Monday – Whodunit?
- 🎬 Tuesday – Premiere VIP
- 🔮 Wednesday – Science of Sorcery
- 💦 Thursday – Hydro-Blast
Every day includes:
- Wellness check-in and name badge registration on arrival
- Communication band provided
- Peer games and warm-up activities to ease into the day
- Activity corners throughout the morning (art, games, craft, sensory and play)
- The day’s main themed activity after lunch
- Snacks and water provided

A Look Back at July 🌿
In July we ran our most recent Fern Collective Holiday Programme and it was a wonderful start to something really special! A real chance for us to settle into the kaupapa, get to know our tamariki and their whānau more, and see the magic that happens when kids are in a space that truly gets them. We are so looking forward to doing it again soon!
We had eight fun-filled days including Craft Day, Park Day, Disco Day, Jump Day, Moving Day, Pool Day, Sensory Play Day and Movie Day – and the smiles said it all.
